Can Camlann SBs use slash in their offhands?

Been told that on Camlann SBs can use slash offhands that equate to full mainhand damage if specced in slash.

Can anyone verify this please?

They can use slash if its an axe.

else you cant perform LA styles.

the bug was fixed this patch. say bye-bye to uber offhand damage.

so pre-patch SB could use a hib slasher in offhand, but only spec sword and get offhand swinging every swing with main hand weapon skill? or am i just confused?

normally:

when you have 1 LA spec and use an axe in offhand your base damage on both hands is dropped to like 70%. by speccing LA you raise the base damage, nearing 100% with 99 spec. basically, if you dont spec LA and use an axe in offhand, your damage is gonna suck.

with the other-realm-slasher

you used a sword in the offhand, and you still swinged every round. but you didnt have the drop in base damage, even with 1 LA spec. that is how SBs and zerks didnt use axes in offhand and didnt spec LA and still did good damage.

aye get u, man they shouldnt have fixed that, coz that means that SB had DW mechanics, but always swung off hand. i used to play a SB way back when (telemahuka u wont have heard of him, it was b4 i had a 50 and i got him 2 lvl 18 and he was in all green/grey armor with crap weapons but was a true caster killer of his time (duo'd with a m8 and went purpe caster killing lol was so much fun)

i never looked at offhand dmg just used a sword in offhand coz i love hib swords, and was only 5 LA, man wish they hadnt fixed that bug

Well it needed to be fixed as both celtic dual and dual wield had to be specced to make swinging both weapons more frequent
