I fancy making an Animist when SI comes out and want him to be a Spell Crafter as well but can't find anywhere that says this is possible - enlighten me oh wise ones

If it can't spec a melee weapon line, then it can spellcraft.
So yes, as far as I can see Animists can be SCers. =)

Yah. Maybe accept from a savage. Because berzerkers cant spellcraft or alchy. So the savage is the same as a zerker. in a way

I am pretty sure that Savages can do Alchemy as they have both a spell line and a weapon spec line which is the main criteria for alchemist classes.

I dont think Hybrids (skalds, thanes, zerkers etc) can do either afaik. This char probably falls into that category.

PS Its worth noting that Spellcrafting or alchemy is CLASS related not RACE related.
