Anyone knocking about in thid tonight? (Friday 12th, about 9PM GMT atm). Just wanted point out the sheer bravery of the mids. Admittedly, ALbs camp MPK, we're not angels, but right now we're being camped by 4 fgs and two onagers! Please, someone sypathise with me! What chance do we stand. I just hope you lets us out for a vaguelly decent battle <Sighs>

Can only say "What goes around comes around" mate. We Albs just getting a taste of our own medicin really. I have begged and pleaded with Albs not to camp PK's. Its self defeating in the long run. People get sick of it and log. Ergo less enamies to kill. Ergo less fun. But hey, I've seen people post here that camping PK's is a good thing.
Opinions are like arseholes..... everyone got one and they all stink.
Really Mythic needs to step in and put some high level agro (to enemy) mobs in front of PK's.
But ..... thats just my opinion

they dont want to let you out, they want to camp, people in cg keep shouting "to apk!!! GET TO APK!!!" thats why i logged

Camping portal keeps is very boring, I do not mind "defending" the pk much tho since I usually just log a rm/hunter/sb or scout/wizard/infil and have fun with them. If I play a pure melee class I usually just log and wait a few hours for things to calm down (sometimes they do, sometimes they don't)

another trick of mine is to park my char somewhere and wait for deathmessages when the enemies finally kills the campers. A good book is nice while waiting. When the campers are dead, things usually become fun again, atleast for a while

I think the only enjoyment you can get out of camping is when you defending the pk, as you said Weezle. I mentioned in the Thread on top 5 thid chars that Air Theurgists are quite good in this situation.

I urge everyone to stop and laugh as the shadowblades try and pop someone off at the edge, and flee with 300 little air pets tailing behind them.

Something else enjoyable is when perhaps a hib or two will turn up coming from AB, CC mezz all of the sitting mids, walk in with a tank with high protect and guards, and own you all with PBaoE.

(Yes, I've actually seen some hibs recently!)

I think thats pretty much all the fun you can have in camping, watching the chaos, and perhaps adding to the fun with a siege weapon or two.

Camping is a good thing imo, I never run out of power and I can keep the Clerics with a healthy supply of Mana as well. Its small numbers V small numbers I hate, too few targets and they all seem to go for my pet first

It's pretty boring atm to be honest, mids camp apk, when albs gather some numbers, they chase them back to ck...Albs camp ck, pull some guards, attack some mids, mids gather numbers, mids chase albs back to pk...mids camp apk and so on
