camping of named in EZ ffs

well I got pissed already many time in EQ with camping of named and now in DAOC ... so Im gonna post this story and see what you actually think ybout it ...
first the story - we small team of 4 cleared Kelegur spawn in EZ (who does not know - Kelegur is named glimmer in EZ who dropes really nice drops and he can spawn at least in 2 places), and as Im lvl 50 I was interested in drops only. So we cleared the spawn and were siting on hill slope when FG runs into the named spawn, Im not sure about names - Matinex I think was there and Im sure Zmeul. That group run to first spawn then to 2nd spawn then back to first spawn and sit on place where Kelegur is supposed to spawn - I was wandering first something like '?' and 'what are you doing guys here?' as they did not react I typed in capital letters 'YOU GUYS SUCK' as I drunk some beer and did not have much temper. after I started to get from them tells like '%%&) you' supposed to be 'fuck you'. After that I had long discuttion with Zmeul who first wanted to asure me that they wanted just to rest (sure on glimmer spawm and do not tell me you did not know that glimmers and named spawn there) after some talk he sad 'you did not buy this spawn' - sure we did not buy this spawn and actually I can not get pissed when larger group want to steal named spawn - but sorry as I sad camping of named mobs pissed me much in EQ so I just want to know what you think? shoul it be FFA ( free for all) or who comes first is served first? at least all time before when I saw guys siting near Kelegur I tunred around, now sorry - drop will get group who killes Kelegur first if guys like Zmeul think its FFA.

I had a couple of incidents .. but with OTDs .. sat down and camped smyga for ages to finish that damn quest (that fekker spawns every 2 hrs) .. just as he popped i saw a guy my lvl come by .. i ran up to him and asked if he want to grp for drop? (better for all.. less waiting) .. where he looked at me turned back and killed smyga (before i got around to react to what he was doing) and ran off again. Enter another 2hr wait till he spawned again.

Those things bug me ALOT, i ALWAYS grp for OTDs and 90% of the ppl i met along the way does the sam BUT those 10% is so sour.

Now i know this wasnt about OTD, maybe you could do the same? grp for drops. Just make clear on beforehand who wants what etc etc .. always worked for me =)

Elyne you need to learn how to talk like a normal person for ppl to listen to you, that might work.

First of all we had NO CLUE you were camping kelegur, i thought you were going ahead to warshades and were resting up for mana/end.

As soon as you said that u were camping kelegur we left the area, even tho you sound like a 12 year old kid. ("HEY FUCKERS GET OUT OF MY AREA" <-- or something like that). Very mature.

Next time try to explain first and then open your mouth and swear to ppl.

Matinex do not write what I was not saying - I was not sayinf F... even if I would you would not get it cause of chat filter . The only thing that I typed of swearing I gave in my first post - also I used capital letters cause you did not pay attention to a few sentences before with normal questions and not in capital letters. Well good that it was misunderstanding, even so you can understand how can it piss if you camp named and see that bigger group runs into the camp and sit on the named spawn not paying any attention to you. I promise next time I ll be paitantly /telling guys who run into named spawn that my group is actually camping it already

Erm, four people group of 36,41,42,50 going to warshades ????
You just ran past, gathered all glimmers in the area and returned back without paying any attention.

And yes, sitting on the cliffsite for around half an hour waiting for spawn just to find it killed can drive anyone mad, even without beer ;P

Erm.. Is there a law i dont know about that means other people cant camp somewhere when you are?

You dont own the spawn points, and if you can camp them so does anyone have the right to.. Hypocrit.

Well, if you stopped for a second to give a chance to send you a tell, you could get all explanation required. But you just rushed by. Very polite

How would i know what u was supposed to do? i ALWAYS stop there when going to knights/dw/etc for regen. i didnt even see half of you, or wich con you had. So dont accuse me for not paying attention, i really dont care what levels you are.

And again, how would i know u sat there for an hour? sit there a whole day if you want next time.

Why would i want to stop? i am not planning to have a chat with you that night, i go where i want to go and its a game where i can do that, wake up and stop talking crap.

Elyne, yes it was a misunderstanding i would never come and steal your kills. Sorry it was not meant. I was coming to get kelegur but i had no clue you were camping it.

ooo he drops many nice things - ring 5 int 5 con, dex 10 crash, ring 6 con str dex (not sure) 10 slash, blunt weapons, leather vest 98 af, glimmer drumm and so on . and its nice to have 20% of resist to crush when you fight that ugly huge trolls who think that fierbolg is a troll on a diet . Especially this guy spawn slow and you should fight through all glimmerlings to get to him and for 4 ppl ranging from 40 to 50 fighting glimmerling hords is not easy .
well sure Matinex, everething migh happen on the weekend hehe.
well mostly why I posted is cause I got pissed so many times in EQ cause of named spawns, mistic did very good job here (hehe you had to play EQ if you do not think so) but still camping is an issue. as you see some guys who answered on my post are actually wandering - what I was talking about and that I can not claim any spawn spots
P.s. he never droped caster crap like odilic cap or antipodian club - you mix with other named glimmer ah also Kelegur droped once LW glimmer crusher or so
