BBC News - Alternative remedies 'dangerous' for kids says report

Anyone have any opinions on the subject ? I should expect the majority on here would be completely unsurprised by these findings but would anyone offer a different opinion ?

If you wash the baby and take a small bit of the water and then dilute it 1000x, can you give people child abuse by throwing it at them?

I'd say it only becomes child abuse if you're forsaking proper treatment for homeopathic remedies. After all, they're just little sugar pills.

tiny little babies arnt even old enough for the placebo (I'd assume, since they have no idea what they are eating is "medicine") so it's a complete waste of time whereas for adults its almost entirely a waste of time.

Worse than a waste of time, the article reports on babies who died because they were given herbal remedies instead of medicine.
