call of duty 3 online q

First sorry if this has been posted about before.
I have had my xbox since release, but only yesterday decided to connect up to xbox live (omg what a nub heh :d). I can play all my games online fine, apart from CoD3 which just says: No game sessions are available. It says this to every single game, even if i just choose quick, and custom matches. (I get a full list of games up, but when I go to join it, it comes bakc with that message).

Are you trying to play Ranked Matches? If so try normal Player Matches. If not they i'd suggest you check your NAT settings which is within System Blade, network, test connection to xbox live. Post what the NAT result is.

Goto the dashboard -> System Blade -> Network Settings -> Test Xbox Live Connection. You'll have a section called NAT simply tell me what the result is. Should be either Open, Moderate, or Strict.

You really want Open to be able to connect to everyone on XBL.

If you can connect to player matches you're fine.. i can't get a single ranked match and neither can 1000s of other people just go on the xbox-cod3 forums and you'll find a nice 20 page thread on the whole thing ie its fucked.
