Just got this for my xbrick, played it a bit over the weekend. It's very good so far, very atmospheric, there's some genuinely scary bit's in this although I've only played it for about an hour, and haven't even used a gun yet!

It's fun wondering around innsmouth, seeing all the hybrids, but the character doesn't know that's what they are!

ditto, and also if it's out on the ultimate gaming platform -the ibm/pc-?

It's great, well worth getting. 30% in now and I finally get a weapon, the ol' half life classic, the crowbar!

There probably will be a pc version (it was originally supposed to be xbrick/ps2/pc) but they signed an exclusive contract with microsoft, and apparently the devs aren't even allowed to mention a pc version, it will probably be late next year.

Its coming out for the 360 as well isnt it?

Probably, as it's a recent game and will be just a recompile.

Finally got some ranged weapons (a revolver, an automatic, a double barrelled shotty, and a tommy gun), and ranged combat is a bit of an arse as there's no crosshairs, in fact there's no HUD at all! Oh well, guess it just takes a bit of getting used to!

The sanity system is great, you start hearing voices, the display goes odd, and apparently when you're even less sane (not happened to me yet) the controller goes all odd!
