Again a force was gathered. and learning from the mistakes of the Wensday night assault. we this time took the keep with relative ease

gj to the few mids that where out there, and dropped faster then you can say "OMG thats a LOT of albs!"

also thanks to all the albs that showed up. like last time, I won't name any names, cause for everyone I mention, I forget 2 :\

Sorry that I wasn't there, was hunting with main with a friend. But we will be back there soon I think. Damn 2 clerics and a minstrel and whatever other class in group really rocks Caledonia :)

The fun part is to use strategies (wish we had some strategies in emain...) We knew for instance that there was one resser dwarf (Carla). So we focused our attacks to get her and with success :) As soon as she dropped all the other Mids were easy to kill.

I don't know why we aren't that smart in emain. But as soon as I can't enter Caledonia anymore I will lvl my Cleric to 50 and gonna see if I can kick some ass like in BG :)

Tanx for all Mids and the 2 Hibs for coming and giving the RP for the whole team :)

it was also nice to see a few hibs out there too. I dont feel so lonely now.

On another note im sad about the lack of L30 alb casters sat alone away from their m8s. Come on guys, get it together ;-p

we had a Siege X-Bow set up to defend Mid bridge.
heard it did it's job quite nicely too :p

bring em in again sometime. can't wait to hit you away from it and start shooting your own forces ;)

You cant have taken that much care of them, I managed to kill 2 amongst your midst AND get away plus afew others. (Not so lucky a few other times though!).

Did any1 else see that lonely troll out and about too? He had a bit of a boogie with 1 of our rangers and we xped a bit too!!. When he finally got bored and attacked the surrounding shades shredded him.

As fo siege weaponry, you have to see me to hit me :)

Out of interest, how does a siege weapon react to Perforate Artery's? Come on SBs, u must have tried it! (we're too scared)

Well you try battling 5 guards :p Our theurg was hiding in the back (and not in the group). But hey you're a nightshade you should kill casters, that's your job :)

But the fun part that night was that we had an infil with us as well, he did all the scouting for us :) Pretty nice job Soro :)

Hehe the only thing i hate more then minstrels/skalds are assassins guarding casters!!!! Try to get some enemy casters instead....

shame to say, i have had severe problems with my pc for last 3 days......now after a complete windows recovery and reinstall of the game, DAOC is still not working from my home pc. i have no answers or ETA yet. next thing to do is try and log on from my work pc, to make certain its my home pc. i just keep getting chucked bout 3 mins after connecting to the server, and i have no idea why. :( :( :(

good work in taking the keep back, to be honest we have battered you so badly recently i didnt think you were coming back,(killpansas i have killed you approximately 10 times, stop shooting bolts at me, it just makes me mad) i thought u had levelled past the 30-35 bg (coaxmetal in particular as u seem to be the only one with some organisational skills).

you do realise tho (and i mean this without a hint of modesty <evil grin>) that if Ferlash had been rallying the troops on the walls, things might not have gone so smoothly for the albs.

anyway! grats, job well done, and as soon as i fix that buggering pc, ill be back with my mates to take the fort!

i too also think that the BGs are awesome, cos of no ganking, and a smaller battlefield with less running about emptyness and yes........god damn it, some tactics (when the right people are thre to shout and listen).

gutted i missed the 2nd big battle.

So THAT'S why I missed you there :)

wouldn't have made much of a difference though, as only 1 Troll managed to get in anway...

besides that, there are a lot of good albs down there in the BG
Falcoure, Rossco, Norpan, Mutant, Handie
and all others who I forgot

unfortunatly if we all attack. and only the good ones keep attacking there's a fair chance we'll die to you trollish brutes
(I generally am the first to go, diving after a Runemaster/healer in a mad suicide rush)

Anyway. I'll refrain from leveling to 36 for a bit, just hurry up and get that PC back up. I'd really love to defend that keep some day against an assault from you :)

Might be worth posting here what ur set up is at home and what actually happens.

Think a fair few 'techie' type people read this and it couldn't do any harm I guess.

Or post to the techie section.

(Don't really want to help u but I'll hit 35 soon with my Minst so thought it best if ur in the BG 2 kill me ;) )

If not that STUPID LD yesterday the keep would be ours.
I LDed in the middle of the siege, and failed to assemble the second ram... :-(

We will try until we will win.

Glad you got it sorted. (I missed the post in the techie section but would have probably suggested the same fix as I had the same thing happen to me when I 1st put a gforce3 in)
