Caer Sidi Raid: Take......something or other

Caer Sidi Raid this Saturday 1pm gmt 2pm cet (I think thats right? ) at Fort Gwyntell, co-lead by Aligro and my good self.

Rules will be the same as the other raids, basically individual lotto where you may only bid on an item if your class can use it.


Im sure a lot of people are wondering, "Why come to this raid when x x x reason." Well there are two good reasons for coming to this raid. It looks like 1.60 isn't too far down the road now, and in patch 1.59 Apoc was made significantly harder, meaning it takes about 120 people to kill him, while at the moment it can be done with about 70. Second reason, tonnes of Sidi drops become even more uber next patch.

Why do they put +stealth on lutes? I can understand a drum or flute, but what are you going to do, bust out of stealth and amaze your enemy with a wild solo rendition of Heal Song 5?"

Givz guarantees of mongs not running off with drops, of a fair lotto, still 2 weeks since a Slash Paladin took off my with Mace and a Thrust Polearmsman ran off with a Crush Polearm. Not spending another 6hrs with 50ppl to gain a handful of items that are basically assigned without real though or structure towards the end.

check the stats on those suits.....like 200dex, 30con, 4%slash resists etc....

Yup, actualy not too hard to gather a full set considering theres a sidi raid every week or so, also many ppl won't be up for collecting the whole set and will be selling it. Those neckies are pratically the pride and joy of Sidi

agrees with daivana, sort the loot system, im still not happy about what happened too.....u cant change rules from one item to next:

Crush pole : gets given to a thrust spec tank
Slash sword with +4 DW: can only be lottoed for by mercenaries
Crush (tank) hammer 1h: Goes to a lvl 43 cleric

get a definitive system, dont work changing rules per item

But as other folks said the armour that must be worn to get the effect isnt good enough to make it worthwhile.

You seem bitter Tigerius, I don't care why. But on the raid itself a merc crush wep dropped, no merc crush present so we will sell it on bw for keep door fund. If a class can't use it, they won't get it.
