cable modem ( connection interuptions )

heya, i have a quicknet account cable modem in holland , when i play eliteforce i have a very good ping between 20 and 50 but every minute i have connection interuptions for a few seconds so it's unplayable can somebody tell me what to do, i like to play normal again.

Do you get it on all games?

I had a similar problem, after many hundreds of phone calls to NTL they finally came out, it appeared that the modem type thing in the box was faulty/old.Ring yr provider m8.

Either that or sum1 else has yr IP/mistakingly uses yr IP, i did read that can happen, check out sum of the articles on www.speedguide.net

it's more likely that there is some kind of technical problem in your ISP, the 'spikes' you are experiencing are generally down to routing issues or firewalling/proxies
