Cabalist

Hi guys,

I am planning on rolling a cabalist soon but I am a bit puzzled about the spec. I found some old guides where body and matter are the way to go and on the vn boards a lot of people seem to be going for high spirit till they reach a decent rr and then they go for the cookie cutter tri-spec.
Are there any experienced cabalists out there willing to help me out with some advice?

RR1-
46 Spirit
24 Body
11 Matter

Best debuff, AoE diasese and a not bad Nuke damage

RR6-
33 Spirit
35 Body
25 matter

Blue Nearsight, Yellow AoE disease, 30% body debuff GREAT baseline nuke

Level from 1-50 with as much spirit as possible... pet 4tw.....easy to solo, sometimes buffed my sapphire set a timer to 18minutes camped pet in a spot with a bunch of blue cons and went to watch some telly, came back after timer ran out to rebuff....rinse repeat......
And with the fast repop rate in catacombs it would prob be way easyer...

Now....you ding 50....GRATZ!!!
Buy a respec stone and respec to full Matter, AoE DoT 4tw, you'll be leeching tons of rps till you get RR6 then id prob go with the tri-spec idea ;-)

This way you will end up beeing hate by allmost every CC'er in your realm, but youll have plenty of RP's

Edit: oh ya, and with full matter you can focus loads of high end mobs with a fop cleric bot ;-)

Thats pretty much what I did, except I went for the 50% spirit debuff aswell at 47 spirit, since I was regularly running with a theurg in group. Trispec is funfun when you have enough RSPs for MoFocusIII:]
