for non-cookie cutter action make a sorc and spec 49 mind.

any chance you could add to that what do i first specc ? and why i specc that?

spec 3 spirit first this gives pet recycle,
then spec full matter up to about 40.
keep speccing full matter with main ding's to get aoe dot at 46, then put your mini dings into body.

if you're gonna base your ideas on a class on your experiences at lvl 4 i dont think you'll find a class thatll suit you ;p
