Have decided that Friday nights are probably better for these raids :
a. most don't have to get up too early the next morning - and they are long raids, especially if Utgard is included.
b. Usually nothing else is planned for Fridays on DAoC
c. I'm busy irl for the next two Thursdays.
If there's enough interest I'll post the groups set up on Thursday when I get home.
Requirements : lvl 50, and to be on the lvl 50 part of the Inferno Quest. (See Iraeda in Jordheim first)
Classes Most Needed :
Healers : I like to have 2 per group - but 1 active per group miniumum.
Shammies : one active per group. BBs useful for the C05 but not Utgard. Red End Reg and FoP necessary for Utgard.
Tanks : very short last night - 3 in an Utgard group is vital. Valks and Thanes useful for cots.
PBAOE : always welcome. WL very effective if tanks are present.
Others : Hunters for ranged pulls;
Above classes have to take priority, as do those who signed up.
But no-one is turned away if there's room. Pets not used at bosses but can be on the runs.
There were a coupla reasons we wiped last night, but less clear was why several people who had no irl commitments decided to leave immediately. We were then forced to abandon the raid, even tho its easy to recover from one usually. First time this has happened.
If you sign up it's because you want to do at least the C05 bosses complete, and Utgard if you can. If we don't start on time because we are waiting for latecomers, then don't expect to finish before 12.30 cet.
I think you can imagine what leaving a carefully selected set-up unexpectedly can do. Its not like a ML - if you leave the group in the middle we have to go back to the entrance to pick up any replacements - makes it a long night.
