WP's not dead yet..

Areantech will be reopening them shortly and bring everything back online......and 5 of teh gameplay peeps have gone over to the new BY service, and the communties have goen with then.

So it's not died, but kinda spawned two companies.

Areantech bought all the wireplay assets, but that doesnt necessarily mean they will bring wireplay back online.

With all the staff over at BY and the majority of the wireplay community there as well, I wouldnt count on areantech getting business from old wp customers just cause they are using the old kit.

Nearly everyone I know from Wireplay are winging their way over to Barrysworld as I speak...

...Besides the TFC community seemed to be dying over at Wireplay, it's very much alive and kicking here

afaik 90 percent of the commnunities are going to Blue Yonder, I heard theat most of them will use BW and Jolt until the BY Service is sorted.

I personaly use the BW servers anyway, so it don't matter a lot ot me, I just prefer the larger WP CS community.

I'm going to be honest here and say I don't know how big both communities are when it comes to CS.

But to make a judgement like that stealth is silly, after all CS players will join any CS server and you'll find the communities are mixed in certain respects.

hehe, sorry m8ty I didn't mean to cause offence like that, I meant as in a kinda chatting community, IRC forums etc, the current

WPCS core forum, which is what the WP cs community is using atm whilst BY sorts themselves out, it very lively, where as this forum shares it with all the other HL mods.

The BW league and servers are spot on, I haven't experienced that community first hand, but unless there is another forum I don't know about, i guess that the ex WP cs community is more chatty.

Sorry SAS m8ty, I don't want to spark another "my community own3rs your community" arguement again...
