This evening I tried to connect to #bwefl. What I got was "address is banned" ??
does this mean I am banned? if so for what? is rather clueless about this.

you shouldn't be banned,try changing your hostmask and try again.

thx works now without changing "hostmask", btw what is that and how do you change that. please realise that I am a n00b on this area

lol me too mate,well I know quite abit now but i suppose I'm still classified as a n00b.Anyway as far as I know your o.k. to change the hostmask a little apart from the i.p and domain,goto file/option/local info,your hostmask is in the first box but as I'm not 100% just find out off someone more reliable first.
