I went into town earlier today to do the regulation chrimbo shopping and decided to pop into GAME and ask a simple question:

Q: Is GAME advertising BarrysWorld yet ?

The people in the GAMEs in nottm are pretty good I went in a month or 2 ago, and found TeamArena for 99p. Yes, brand new, boxed, nothing dodgy, team arena for less than a quid... As i was paying, i learned that the day before it'd gone to that price(from £15), a guy had come in and bought i think, 6 copies... I was pretty gobsmacked as to why anyone would want 6 copies of it, let alone the concept of wasting nearly 90 quid... They said that he was buying for a lan party, however we all realised the fact that you could just install the same copy of team arena on all 6 PCs...

Oh and for ages there used to be an amusing guy at the smaller GAME. He worked there for ages(over a year), and he was the most stereotypical gameshop employee ever... When i finally realised that he wasn't working there anymore, i was dissapointed... God i'm weird

...and how we laughed, secure in our geekdom. The manager used linux too, he was my good friend, it speaks volumes about us linux users.
