BW Servers and the Patch

Why did people think that the patch would make the servers full again?

IMHO what it needs is some dedicated mini tournies, standard "hit the server" times and more work spent promoting it all.

Thoughts?

A 64 player open server would be full

I can't see much making the BW servers more popular until they get a finished product in to the shops, even then we will be lucky
