in recent months myself and many others have come to the conclusion that the qizmos on john may be adding to packet loss. isdners theres days are often getting ~1-7 pl using john, instead of ~0-2 when using external/no public qizmo.
another less frequent problem is connecting to server and finding some of the players have vanished(!), names being replaced in speech and deathmsgs by <null>. this problem ONLY occurs when using bw qizmo, reported by several ppl. could this be due to loss of plaerinfo data when connecting to the server?
personally i'd like to see one of the qizmos moved to another box, to see if this improves things. having two qizmos on the same pc seems rather self defeating, as there is the same number of clients straining that box. having one on another box would also avoid the dreaded situation when john.bw.com dies and we are without bw qizmo for days on end
