BW Dialup gives a better/faster connection? Bullshit...

I'm on Freeserve Unlimited (£10 month for 24/7) and i always get a better ping with this connection than i do if i use BW dialup, no matter what server i'm on (BW server or otherwise).
The same also aplies for Wireplay. I get an even worse ping from wireplay, even when i play on their servers connecting via their client software.
I have tested this many times this week and a freind of mine is also reporting the same.

Whats going on? Has anyone else found this?

Barrysworld dialup gives a stable connection - at least that's what I've always found. The ping may not always seem the best but packet loss is always low and the connection is consistantly good - I never get a better game on a BW server by using a different ISP and I think that rings true for most users. Ping is not the be all and end all of factors.

perhaps u should press the f6 key there u can found the true ping and packet loss !

I use ntlworld free isp, true it boots me every 2 hours, but it gives me the best ping i've ever had (usually around 100-150)

Ever since using BW dial-up my ping dropped from about 160 to 140ish.
I was dialing up using gateway.net before
