BW DIALUP?? F**KED UP?

I seem to be having problems connecting using the BW dialup calling from the London area on a BT line.

I am using a 56k modem and everytime I dialup it tries to verify user name and PW then waits, then:

"Error 691 The computer you are dialing cannot establish Dial Up Netwking Connection. Check username and PW and try again"

Obviously I have checked these. It started about Thurs last week. Nothing has changed on my computer.

Any ideas?

Just out of curiosity.....how did you manage to post this when you can't get on the internet as your ISP is down?

I have several dialups.

Thing is, my BW dialup gives me the best Pings on BW servers which is why it is so important.

I have the same problem, having been away for a fortnight. I'm using UKOL dialup atm, as a backup, but it sucks, even to UKOL servers the BW dialup is better. Should i just sign-up again?
I'm on 56k modem.
Thanx for any and all help u can give. Just so you know, and for Nemesis's benefit, I am signed up to about 10 dialups. On the BW tribes servers with BW dialup i ping between 160 and 200, none of the rest have got my ping below 250
