I think you'll find 2 7600GT will cost about the same as one 7900GT. The 7900GT will be faster in almost all circumstances (esp. in Camelot which does not benefit from SLi at the moment).

Do not forget to pay attention to the power supply.... It's highly underrated and can cause a lot of problems when running with an underpowered or a low-cost PSU...
And get a S-ATA harddrive instead of an UDMA one... much better

Also i'd recommend getting an amd x2 or amd64 as they produce much less heat than the P4s and are generally better for gaming and as sombody said above a single gfx card being a 7900gt or a x1900xt will out perform sli. Also gigabyte are not to most reliable mobo manufacturers, i'd suggest going for an asus if you are not intending on clocking

yeah get a amd64 chip if your gaming. Intels longer pipelines are proven to be less effective in games. You can get a 3700 amd chip for £120 these days, and a 3800 x2 for £190

Amd processors mean you need to stick to ddr1, but with ddr1 you get tighter latencies really, for less.
