Thing is, DF hasn't been open when I've been online lately now that the newness of DF has worn off and the keep taking has stopped. My computer can't handle raids and farming them in a normal group is pretty boring. Hard to find xp groups in there anyway since most get better xp elsewhere.
Got to be someone who doesn't need any more seals. Here's a chance to earn some extra gold for dyes, future spell crafting, alchemy etc. 5 gold/seal? If you feel it's too cheap I can go higher.
Have some sympathy for an elf with 69 unbuffed con
Edit: Also, don't forget the reward you'll get in heaven!!
Did you know that if you have 750 metalworking or higher, if you salvage the diamond seal bought scale tunic from DF, and then trinket the diamond bars you get back, the sale value of the trinkets is just under 500 gold.
Talk about a goldmine, those tunics are under 20 diamond seals aren't they ?
No, I didn't know that. I was under the impression the salvage time for the diamond hauberks exceeds item decay time, meaning the armor will poof before you finish salvaging it. Stick to the diamond coifs. That's if you want to spend hours making diamond hinges (albeit for some decent money).
There's a trick to that to Bren, if you pick up the tunic, and drop it and salvage again, it carries on where it left off when you picked it up.
I think if you try to cast a spell while salvaging it says you can't cast this spell for xxx time, that is the time remaining before salvage is completed.
Yes, I know about the dropping, but from what I've heard, it doesn't seem to work. Some people claim they can do it, others say they can't. Guess I gotta waste some seals and try to salvage a hauberk some day... I'll post my findings.
Norme, maybe we should just get 3 groups of peeps 40+ but not 50 yet, grab 2 mid keeps and run for DF. I can imagine that the lvl 50 are not highly motivated anymore to go xp in DF, or take keeps so we can
