You should have your DPC checked out immediately the water is drained. You really don't want to have to deal with ruined plasterwork in a few weeks time, only for your insurance company to deny all knowledge of it.
Well, its all fixed, some stupid blanked off pipe from the mains had lost its end cap. I'm waiting on it drying out a bit and then I'll get someone to look at the wall. Now I get to deal with the insurance people. Joy.
