Building a new PC

Ok. What sort of sites can I get parts from for building a new PC from scratch? I'm pretty sure a few have been posted before, but that was a while back, and I really don't want to have to search through a load of archives. Thanks in advance.

Whereabouts are you based?
In the UK I get all my bits from Aria Their customer service has been exceptional which is why I'll buy from them even if the same product is cheaper somewhere else.
If you want the best price then try PC Index which searches half a dozen sites for the best price on a particular piece of kit. Good if you know the exact make and model you're after, not so good if you want to browse through a range.

Would anyone second any of these recomendations? After all one persons experiences with a company isnt enough to go on statistically...

I second my view that EBuyer are a good cheap company

I have had no problems with Ebuyer with the 5 or so items ordered from them.

www.microdirect.co.uk are a good company used by me and many in the Hardware forum up there.

these guys are cheap as chips

www.watford.co.uk are just as cheap as ebuyer but its harder to find stuff on their site
