Well as an extreme measure, i can suggest Deleteing the local game content. Ans starting again as such

If you want a hand/instrcutions in doing so just ask.

Im sure there must be a better easier way though.

Edit: When i look in my Cstrike folder i dont have that file or even the cl_dlls folder.

nope... only thing ive installed is that RZE Buyscript.

I havent played cs in like 2/3days, i come back and it dont work.

just delete the client.dll file. I had the same prob and did that. It worked. I imagine that the game downloaded the file next time it loaded.


New problem for me though:

Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server was
unable to contact the authentication server, 27).


I loaded Steam on Dan's PC (already installed on mine) and that seems to have buggered my steam registration. Any ideas anyone? Cheers
Either that or the server I connect to is borked?

logout of steam and log back in again - the ticket id thing stopped after i did this

Maybe this client.dll thing is the issue. I just checked and that file hasn't actually re-installed, it's just missing. But 1.6 seemed to work without it before, oh I dunno *shrugs*

Like i said i don't have client.cll or even the folder it lives in.

thx Kam - the logout-login cured the ticket thing.

My server was giving the ticket error last night. Seemed a few people were having it. Not tested to see if its cured yet?
