I bought my cs in a box in the generation package thingy type thing. Does that mean i have retial or does it mean i have the mod?
OK, i could actually do with a bit of help on this one. Over the weekend my CS kept crashing mid game and once it actually restarted my computer... all of this is a bit worrying as i have JCSL match coming up on Thursday and i really don't want it to crash mid game.
So far i have completely uninstalled CS and its directory and reinstalled, crashed again. I was wondering if it might be my cpu overheating so i left the computer alone for a while (that hurt - but i had my beer to keep me compnay).... no good.
Basically what keeps happening is my computer will crash/hang i can't alt-tab, can't crtl+alt+del, sometimes i got a blue windows fatal error message.... had to restart the computer. I have reinstalled windows as i thought it might be a windows prob, no good! Anything else i could look at??.... directx is up-to-date all patches are up-to-date i have plenty of RAM so it can't be that. I thought it could have been a sound/graphic prob as when it crashes sometimes the sound will stutter and loop... but my sound & gfx drivers are up-to-date.
I am going to try it again after work if it keeps happening then i don't know what to do.... Any ideas??
Thanks Powers
