its been a long time.

anyway just got round to installing q3 again after a long break,got the latest patch(1.32)anyway refreshed the servers in ase and bugger me if it wont let me join any,i think i must need all the latest mods etc but what should i get?

i just wouldnt mind playing the original maps on a server though.doesnt seem to be many servers with just the originals on now:

nah not really most maps are osp or threewave .. well TDM and CTF servers anyway

The Jolt server plays all the original maps with no mods other than PB , which is required. And it has bfg turned off too !

My fondest memories of q3ctf are playing q3ctf1, 2, 3 and 4 back in the early days The 3w maps had so much potential but I dont think there were many that had as much fun factor as the original maps. Making solo caps on public servers involved so many trick moves, while trying to get a single cap in a league game was just about the hardest thing ever! Ah those were the days!!
