Bugger. Help me.... q2 and display prob

Other night i did something. Because i was drunk, i now have no idea what. But since doing it q2 refuses to load :| Start up, it gives me the error - GLimp_EndFrame() - SwapBuffers() failed!

hmmm, ive installed 4 different driver versions for meh tnt2u, tried copying opengl dll things here there and everywhere, im running win2k so a reinstall gets the two fingers. As a techy i use the expression "i think its broken" and this case is no exception.. anyone know how to stop it ?

Have you uninstalled all your TNT drivers?
If so have you then selected standard vga card in properties, restart then install drivers v.3.68 (These seem to be the most stable) or try Nvidia's web site for latest W2K Drivers. Hope this helps some

Done that 6 times over now, starting with 3.68, 5.16, 5.17, 5.22 (Detonator 2) , tried the latter and the formost twice :

Bet you havnt tried deleting the config.cfg, then starting up again with your standard one have u ?

Got it working now, the fault is in fact the Detonator 2 drivers - the OpenGL is fucked up. Theres a reg hack to sort it, which i've done now.

my q2 fucked up like that....

remove drivers and the grafixs card from the proborties in the device manager

Should work after reinstalling...
