Hi there

was playing on Barrysworld ctf(2)tonight, just left it at 10pm on 13 May. Found the following bug:

After a while of playing, found that whenever I sent a team message as I hit return, I became an observer...

weird - just switched me straight into it.

also then when i rejoined a team i couldn't global talk - as i hit the enter button after writing the message then the message box moved up a line, inserting a blank line in the messages.

i spent ages trying to get ppl to respond if they could see the messages, but they couldn't (didn't??).

So what gives.?

If this is a feature (???) then pls don't flame me...

Also I saw that someone kept initiating a vote, and it just said:

xxx has proposed a vote to .

wording may not be spot on but at the end it definitely just said 'a vote to .' what is this all about??

first of all don't worry about people flaming you for stating something you found wrong with the game, we're not that evil...*are we?*
anyway, yes that is a bug, as the only ways you should enter observer mode are by choosing to, or by being forced to by an admin. there is a bug that initializes and seems to do this, and it usually happens when you spawn for the first time in a game and aren't given a team, where everyone is on the enemy side (i.e. everyone else has a red triangle) and you can't team-talk, obviously because you're not theoretically on a team, you're running free...
But anyway, it sounds like the same sort of thing, don't worry about it, it doesn't happen often, and if it does, just quit the game and rejoin: sorted.
