Bug in Enchanter quest

Can anyone tell me if this quest is bugged (See the Moonstone).

I've done all the creeper thing, and took the crown back to the crone, she takes it and then decides not to talk to me anymore.


Anyone know how to sort this out?

Eh... you sure you levelled enough since epics continue every 5 levels or so... but... there is a real bug too. You cant speak to the hounds later... signet ring, collar etc. wont help... they just refuse... tried all the possible /whispers etc.

you need to GIVE the collar to the named hounds edan or other one (cant member now) near macnol so that they can talk

obacono, the next part of the quest that your on, requires you to be lvl 20, once you hit 20 then go back to theCrone and she'll instruct you further

I was trying to hand the collar to hounds... first time i was lvl 22 or so and it succeeded... but they sent me to grow up a bit... next time no effect... maybe it needs some treatment in between?

Yep, tried at lvl 20 - I'm now lvl 25 and the quest still won't work.


Do you need Fagan's ring on to speak to the crone (after I gave the crown thing)?

uncle Sal: i think your quest was messed up when you gave the collar to the hounds at lvl22, the required lvl to give them the collar is lvl25 so i guess it is abug (unless you still got the collar)

Yes... i still had the collar later... and was wearing signet ring... whatever... dont actually need the items anymore i guess

I did this quest at level 25. Handing the collar to the hounds works fine. I beleive if you are not level 25 then it will not work. If you have now lost the collar I would suggest RightNow. Wearing the signet ring is important but I wear it anyway.

Well U need to complete it if U want ur lvl 40 & 50(!) epic.. wich Im sure U do

I had this problem and there is a solution

in your journal it should have a word in [ ] brackets, say that to one of the hounds if you have already given them the collar, and it will let you carry on with the quest

Sal: you need to do this quest because the epic enchanter gear at 50 is so cool, you probally wont need all the other items you get or the minor exp but it all makes up for it at 50

obacono: I dont know what has happened then i guess if you have done informat and all i have no idea what the problem is and you'll probally have to use rightNow

doin this long quest as you lvl gives you really nice items, ive done everything i need to now until my lvl40 epic which im looking forward too and the 1.50 patch enchanter epic armour rules

i could post what you need to do exactly but i dont wanna ruin it for you (or anyone else) so i dont think i should.
