Bug: Chat from other zones and something that seems to go along with it

Cylian, why not contact rightnow and try to see if they can figure it out with just those pics?
Is really strange though - Might of been because you were technically in their realm since you seemed so close? [Might be a border-line where you can see other realmers names - if you get too close?]

No idea about this one, have had similair bugs before were enemy realm names show up as a friendly realm name. Also recently i had someone in same realm hear /group chat as though it was in /say chat.
As it doesnt happen all the time i guess mythic probley have some difficulty recreating these chat bugs, i reckon we'll be stuck with it for a while unless they fix it by mistake.

Would like to have the correct names of those, since they're rather hard to read on the screenies.
the Log itself doesn't give a lot of info, just that it's definitly the chatzone of an enemy realm.

it's mostly Borderkeeps and the main exp zones. Guess if you get the chat from a zone no one is in, you won't notice it anyway

Will I do? I know I'm not the illustrious Requiel however I can answer the question... well kind of... It is something that has been reported to us many times and it is something that in conjunction with Mythic we are looking into. It has to do with how the chat databases interlink with each other with different zones in the game, that much we're fairly sure of.
For the time being until the powers that be in the design and coding world of Mythic come up with something it is liable to happen occasionally.

Can you also explain why the Character models are messing up sometimes.
So far my cleric has appeared as a scout and a inf and my scout as a cabbie.
Can get embarrassing when the real one shows up.
My cleric(who to eveyone else appeared as a scout) met the scout. Screenshots were taken etc.

Has anyone by chance ever reported being able to reply to another realms messages?
I remember one time right after ToA came out, I could hear alb /yells for groups/trades near Druim Ligen...out of boredom when some alb yelled "2p for a something-or-other polearm" I yelled back "we dun take none o' yo' funny money here Mr. Alb Sir". He apparently heard me cuz he /yelled wtf are you talking about...dunno...coulda just been replying to something he heard over there... anyway after that i just logged and it went away.
Thinking back I really shouldn't have, coulda prolly made a killing charging 20g a pop to insult a random alb

I GOT THE BUFF BUG B4
i got full shammy buffs (guessing it was shammy since i heard sum 1 yelling "Shammy LFG" or summit) and i had red aoe speed and stuff i was just a lvl 22 eldritch at mag mell about 2 get a horse when OOOO RED BUFFS OO SKALD SPEED, hey wtfs this about a shammy :O i was on hib/excal, but thats the only time it happened 2 me, happened on my shit pc so i just put it down 2 that comp being wierd. i heard what im guessing was mpk chat and buffed etc, may wanna check out mag mell around the horse guy ( i was jumping around the cart) i guess they didnt hear me since i was shouting "IM A LURI HELLO? and stuff and nowt happened, told my guild but then i got bored and headed 2 lvl a bit, but my it was cool.
also i was on pvp and sum shammy told me his main server got shut down for maintenance coz people could pm each other in diff realms and so he was on pvp with me. maybe its the same sort of thing?

gotten that many times and i can see apk chat in emain very often when just roaming, always have the 2x deathspam of each kill when i can see apk chat too.

I have had bugs where I could "see" hibs buffing at Dun Bolg while I was at apk with my hunter.. I've seen msg's about albs lfg at apkE while at mmgE. I have had 12+ flashing buff icons on my screen from all sorts of bard songs / chants, heal field, font of power etc etc when near apk.. Goddamn annoying to have 12 flashing icons on ur screen overwriting your normal buffs. My old buffs dont vaish completely though, the icons are just not there..
I also tried being in stygia and getting /s msg's from svasud faste..
Better repport this soon to Right Now if it continues..

i seem to get this bug in one form or another about 1/10 times when i log on
maybe im just cursed i dunno but i have had chat from DL, MPK emain chat with people buffing, lfg etc, i have had healer buffs appear on me before, a couple weeks back i even had the chat from the fins spot where balth was getting his ranger pl'd and heard all the chat from that..
also it can only be fixed by a restart, if you never reboot then you can see what mids/hibs are saying for as long as u want. however seeing 5 thousand animist pets killing fins is ultra spam and cant really do anything when u get that one

hmm i have know this bug some time but yesterday when was runnig from jordheim to df, suddenly start get emotions from uppland pad, i was between df entrance and haggerfell, my loc was around 30k, 25k in vale of mularn.
send pm to Dwera and ask where he was (wanted to be sure) because his emotion was 1st, and notice suddenly spam emotions inc.
anyway didnt get any /y or /say messages.
hmm and that char mixing i was whit my hunter porting to aegir in uppland, come later to pad and whit bot eyes i was lvl 2x shaman tryed move around and this char moved too.
checked if there was same named shaman online, nope.
sadly didnt write name up, or didnt take ss

Been spending a bit of time in moderna recently (yeah sad I know, tired of normal XPing after getting 3 to 50 normally) And a couple of times now I've seen Aegirhamn spam, another thing I noticed once or twice during this time was that my buff icons swapped for a resssick and a bunch of ML trap icons. Dunno if that helps at all.
