Bug abuse?

I m a caster on a keep defence. I had not been on the ramparts and had remained in the courtyard throughout. However, when ever i got close to the right hand side of the alb keep(remaining inside) ..i was getting shot by an alb scout(through the wall?). When i did a "face" i turned and he indicated outside to the right of the front doors to the right of the hastener. is this a bug exploit?

afaik los is checked server side, so there's technically no way to cheat it.

damn I luuuv volley ... mostly I just damage them but sometimes I get lucky and hit the same target 2 or 3 times in a row ... volleykills4tehwin

But I'm usually on the side away from the door so I'm innocent in this case <grins>

Just move inside the keep to the room at the back if you get volleyed - I spent about an hour once getting shot over and over by the same scout and he still got bugger all tho it was a bit of an impediment to have to keep nipping inside

There is a way to shoot through walls etc with a bow, which totally renders LoS useless, however afaik only me and 1 other person knows, and since i dont use it, and i dont want anyone else using it, thats all im saying

Yep, they can be blocked just like any normal arrow shot at you.

In 1.62, Volley, - like longshot - will penetrate and pop every kind of BT without damage reduction.

the ranger class´s los exploit is being fixed next patch, luckily it seems very few ppl know about it, your being hit by volley, and there is no escape...........

Would that other person that knows how to shoot through walls be the hib called Lucchini?

I've met him a few times at the hmgs in odin's and had hadrians, he has no problems shooting through the walls of the mg, regardless of how much you move around to get out of sight.

Is this a cheet or a new feature that I've not met before, Lucchini is the only one that has shot me in this way.

And before you say it's volley he is using, doesnt volley take time to change target?

Also... if u pull arrow, and auto release - reload, itll fire even if the target sprints, SoS's and warps acrosss the map 1 million miles from HW to Lyonesse (heard albs are getting that in 1.63) cough*
So if its just 1 arrow which hits u when u jump off BM's or summng, itll probly be that

aslong as u have los when u release the arrow or just b4 it will hit without los, IE a draw auto release redraw auto release.

U stand on Xmg get hit by arrow jump off or move into room and as the second arrow is allready on its way, it will hit u anyway, generally not long after u get hit the next arrow has left my bow, so if it takes u a while to get into `safety`thats 3 arrows that would have hit you.

With practice volley GT can be set veryfast im not sure the actuall size of the AE but its a fair size

hmmm playing my shammy and was getting hit by a certain hib inside the mmgH gates while he was standing on the battlements. My other party members where not being effected by his so called volley...just me. And I was getting hit for 7 or 8 arrows. Thats not volley and as a hunter I know for a fact u cannot target ppl while they inside those gates. All I can say is be careful my little ranger friend...the logs of your character are easily read.

You know it is possible for volley to land all 5 of it's arrows on the same target right? It's rare it happens but it can happen, I've one shotted (Well 5 shotted tecnically) a poor healer by getting lucky and having all 5 arrows drop on the same guy at once despite the fact there was about 20 other tanks around him hitting on the doors when we were defending Bledmeer once.

There's no LoS on volley whatsoever and it's 4000 range.

I'm talking about 7 or 8 arrows in a row(I blocked 1)...and that was the 2nd time I was the only target in abt 5 mins. The other 3 ppl with me were not hit.

Also Xest I play a hunter as my main...what is not possible is to fire that many arrows in a row. I figured I was fully buffed and cud withstand the 5 arrows from volley inside that mmg. I did survive those first 5 arrows and then to my horror got killed by the next 3 firing through the gate itself...and yes it was all from the same guy.
