Bug abuse still living. To: all and Women&Ravon

With the euro servers running for some time now, you would think the childish abuse of known bugs/ways to cheat would be over. Au contraire. It's alive!!

So i felt obliged to report this to GOA. First time i did anything of this sort. But frankly it disgust's me. By bug-abusing you grieve (not like grey ganking which is a part of the game), really grieve other players. This kind of behavior wouldn't even be tolarated on a PvP-server.

Here is what i reported, backed up by screenshots:

Hello GOA customer-support,

I would hereby like to report a bug abuse. My character Igguk from Exalibur/Midgard, was from around 9:30 in Thidranki, the first Battleground. I was there with Calekin, Rezzis and Delian at the Midgard bridge to the central keep. We where playing along when out of no where group members of us got nuked.. There was no one around as we had just taken out 2 casters.. a Theurgist and a Cabalist. These nukes where from a fire wizard and probably another Theurgist. I immediately suspected they were abusing the bug where you can somehow enter on of the stone-pillars that are on the sides of the bridge. We started to test if we could get them to fire at us so we could take a screen proving they where in that stone. We found out, after several deads by me and my group mates, that they were hiding in the most SE pillar of the bridge. After some time a Hibernian Bard appeared who messed me and Rezzis and then attacked a lone Albion Caster on the bridge. On the screens it is clearly to see that someone from inside the SE stone is nuking the poor Hib.

So summing up:

- Name of my character: Igguk from Excalibur Midgard;
- Bug abusers: Women (use wind nukes) and Ravon (fire wizard);
- Witnesses: Calekin, Rezzis, Delian and some poor Hib;
- Bug abused: Hiding out of reach from all and nuking from that position. No way to target the ones by whom you were nuked. Location: SE stone of the Midgard bridge in Thidranki;
- Time and date: In the morning around 9:00 GMT on Sunday august the 18th;
- Sever and location: Excaliber in Thidranki.


I hope the appropriate steps will be taken to solve this bug abuse and childish behavior of those people.

You who reported this, could you add "Trinil" to that list? i think it was the same night as my friend got killed by women, who then later jumped up out of the bridge, and then i "baited" and got trinil to kill me from the same place.

I also saw ravon there so i assume this was teh same night.

Rightnow doesnt seem to work for me so if you could please add this i would be much grateful, i have a screenshot to prove somewhere also.

I really hope this is some sad level 50 guy who thought he could make an alt and cheat and noone would find out, because that way punishment will be sooo much harder!!!

Here is a little something i sent to GOA yesterday and they are already looking into this matter. I think you moaning Midgards may like it.

On Monday 19th of August 2002, in the BattleGround Thidranki at 7:10pm GMT (10am ingame time) "4" Midgard players "Exploited" the bug in the Bridge to kill Albions which they were unable to kill normally. All 4 Midgards were there for well over 45 mins and no one was able to target them or see them, but because i happen to fall through coursed by the bug a few nights ago i knew how to get inside and take a screenshot of the people inside for purely to take the picture and get out with the screenshots - but all 4 attacked. Below are the Screenshots taken of these 4 people, 3 are named the 4th person went into Stealth before i was able to get his name. The 3 named Midgards are "Uggly, Tena & Wonkey" 2 are Rune Masters & Wonkey is a Thane or Skald.

Witnesses are: Fejar, Bradi, Lodyll, Shag, Rayna, Bianci, Chenir, Anguss, Rezme, Angie, Testa, Serie & Diffzon (there are more but wasn't able to remember there names)

Mmh Ravon, i hope those middies get a big first warning like you will prolly get (banning is a bit severe imo, but if you alrdy had a first warning i hope they ban your ass). You have just given GOA enough stuff to prove it was in fact you in the pillar. You knew it was wrong and a bug exploit. And trying to say it was an accident you was in the pillar is bull, as you stayed in it for atleast 1.5 hours nuking all who passed or tried to.

i wasn't even in the pillar - i was inbetween them underneath the bridge and GOA have gave me a warning and i accept that, and i know i did wrong. But about the bit meeting you in Thidranki well that won't happen because i have reach the realm point limit in Thidrank which is 350 i have 356 so its good to be away from the n00bs, and away from the moaning Midgards sayibng about the Albion out numbering them 3-1 or because we have had the keep for weeks. But i will be back oh yes i will.. my Infiltrator will be watching you >

But serious now. Hope others read this thread and know bug-abuse isn't the right way to have fun in BG's or the game in general.

Ravon: would like to see your infi in thidranki, but thinking of leveling Igguk a bit further in the odd hours soon. Or ill hit RP cap aswell. So don't think we'll meet. If we do, well... may the best man win.

Yes i do agree DeSlisser, yesterday when there was finally a good battle going Hiberian, Midgards & Albions all together which i haven't seen in a while - a did see a few Albions trying to get into the brigde i told them what happened to me and some midgards 2 nights ago.. They stopped and continued playing the game as normal.

I hope we do meet again in RvR or the last Battle Ground 30 - 34 if more people start playing there.

You say i called everyone n00bs? lets just look at what i said "so its good to be away from the n00bs, and away from the moaning Midgards" ths proves i didn't call everyone n00bs, about 75% of all people in Thidranki are alt characters from people with lvl 30+ character or higher pick what ever you like, but the remaining 25% are the n00bs that camp the Teleport Keeps/Non helping when fights are happening (they just watch you die then run off)/ not to mention the n00b healers damn they are the worst.... i'm telling you my granny can run faster then they can heal.. anyway lets just hope this 25% learn fast on how to play the game when it comes to the real RvR..

Yesterday i reached that limit and i was killed outside of Midgards Teleport Keep from a group of Hiberians that rushed from behind us as we ran after a few Midgards "/wave back to Igguk" - and now i'm unable to re-enter Thidranki.. once i get to level 29 with my Wizard i may check out BG2 even tho everyone says it always empty, there are bound to be some people there to kill
