my question is: next patch best buffs will cap with moarcane 3, is it any use to have +11aug then?

Wll i think the buffcap has been removed so i guess MoA 5 can help somehow as its a full 15% boost of the buff values on top of the 125% delve on the buffs

so its a total of 140% delve, quite nasty on all the buffs if you ask me including damage adds

It's delve x 1.25 and if MoA III .. x 1.09 said ottar.. and I doubt that the +11 does anything

well if you have 2/3 of you lvl in spec you get a 1.25 bonus .. this is spec max so if you are lvl 50 and have 34 aug you get nothing out of + aug, so you are just wasting points. Mastery of the arcane can then help you get even higher

Yeah there is, it's how do you get your bot to almost RR6 to be able to afford MoA 5

anything over MoA3 is WASTE imo.

for the same price as MoA5 you can get some Crit DoT/Heal RA's and MCL AND MoA3, wtf anyone would waste points in MoA5 for an extra 15hp or an extra 3 weaponskill or something ludicrous like that I dunno.

Having a bot Shaman well RAed to actually be useful in RvR is nice sometimes when ya wanna try summink diff, and also helps in PvE raids.

my Bot acc Shaman has seen more TG raids than any of my main acc chars and had his fair share of RvR

I've read on vault Aug 48 + moarcane 3 will pretty much cap the buffs using RED buffs. I think it leaves u 1-2 off on qui/dex and pie buffs . New cap being +92 specline (old =+75) +62 (old =+50) baseline.

Atm I have MOA 3 and 50 aug (dont ask hes gimped and should only have 48 aug) and cap all buffs apart from pie using yellow buff's.

As far as I've read and understood + aug does do somthing but only up to the level of the highest baseline buff spell level .. nothing for above that. I might be wrong dunno but in my case with 50 trained Aug +aug does nothing to help make the yellow Pie buff get better and i have to use RED on that one.

you CANNOT exceed 1.25x buff delve without MoA, regardless of your Aug value.

33 Aug = 2/3rds spec, and that means ANYTHING more = useless as far as buff delves go. Like mentioned before, 33 Aug = buffs actually value at 1.25x delve when cast.

+11 aug does nothing except raise the stats given on base buffs.

Can't really say much about the cap issue, haven't read up on it.
