Intercept is more useful than a stun that may or may not proc and doesn't land if someone else has stunned the target before.

That pet usually gets on my nerves. It's even hard for a reaver to overcome it sometimes despite the loads of interrupts...

Unless you have a ment with STT - the the SM gets beat on by their own buffed pet.
Or someone with Warlord ML3 for that matter (makes pets flee for 30s).
