Buff pet, 2 uber!!

Now when im 50 emian is my second home. I have known this before 50 tho but anyway.

I have realised that buff pet is a "must" if you wanna have a chanse going without the zergs. When im buffed and rdy i get about 1680 HP and about 250str ,Dex 315, Quick 220, Con (cant remember). And these stats makes me ALOT better as dam dealer and dam taker. Ofcourse i like the feeling and i really love my buff pet but it also feels unfair to the players without buff pet.

It feels acually not so good when RL friends try to go solo but cant, just becouse they nnot are buffed, a non buffed have no chanse at all againsta a buffed enemy.

Yestarday i was soloing at atk, after 2-3 kills a scout came out stealthed to kill me. He used TS and begun to fire his first shot.
It hit me for 300+ then i run towards him in full speed. Before i did came in a attacking range he did hit me for a second time(300 +). Then after my first style he used Stunn with hes shield but i had Purge avablie and ofcourse i used it ;D. Righ after that he had to use IP and i used First Aid 2 right after him. 3-4 hits after his IP he was dead and i stealthed and ran to the forest to hide.

The thing is, if i wouldnt have my buff pet, he would have won.
And if i didnt have my lovely Reidar(buff pets name ) i dont know what i would...............

All i say is that is DAoC RvR getting as many buffs as possible? Isnt lvl 50 enough? Do you have have minimum 37 buffpet?

First of all the was an example. Second thing:If a scout hit you 2 times with his bow i think you are pretty dead, so please shut your mouth.

If you dont think the buff pets are uber, then you dont have one.

Please skipp me for a while, this is about buff pets and how uber they are, i want to know what players in other realms think about em and those that dont have a buff pet etc.

That's just stupid! Asking "Do you think your buffbot is good?" is like asking "Do you think being able to cause damage is good?".

What would a bad buffbot do, exactly? Refuse to buff you? You'd click the button over and over and nothing would happen? Your buffbot would cancel your buffs in the middle of a fight?

Another pointless thread... Do you think that groups are uber? If you are solo, they most certainly are .

I'm glad you mentioned the group thing. For too long now, I have been beaten up by people in groups when I am by myself. This is WRONG and probably some kind of bug abuse.

Ofcourse groups are uber, but if you want to go solo and take other player that goes solo you have to have a good buff pet.

I just think it´s wrong that you have to have a lvl 37 buff pet to go solo with a succes.

im not asking if you think your buff bot are good. Im asking the once that dosent have a buff pe, how they feel about get owned just becouse they dont have time to lvl a buff pet.

I dont have buffbot (no time to level it nor 2 pcs to play with) n i often solo sucesfully.

I think buffbots definitely give players an unfair advantage, I look forward to the day they get nerfed. What you did is exactly the reason that Mythic has decided to nerf stealthers, I hope it still feels good when you hit like a pansy even with your buffbot.

I often wonder why there are buffs at all in the game... they never adds anything fun to the game.. IMHO it is a left over from other MMORPG's that daoc just took with em without thinking at all..

a whole spec. line with no fun included.

f u wanna solo u DONT need a buff "pet" (usually known as buffbot) u DONT need to buy a 2nd account and lvl a buffer, U SHOULDNT DO THAT.

I do kick buffed asses everyday wo a "buffpet".

u look silly and preety lame. Plus totally non-skilled f u really cant solo anything wo ur buffbot.


Ofc, f u are unbuffed u might b owned by buffed enemys, everybody go get a buffbot aint the solution. SOLUTION is just the opossite, nerf buffbots so every1 soloing goes unbuffed, only grouped ppl get the advantage from his/her group buffs.

unbuffed vs unbuffed = fair fight.

I´m one of the victims, above is all wot I´ll say, have suffered it such badly that my only way to earn rps (I´m 99% time unbuffed) is to leech near 2 zerg and pick left overs or the losing side loners, I rarely go out soloing anyway, dying 5+ times diary by buff bot users in less than 2 hours really ruin one´s day.

lofff: Ofcourse you and me and others "can" solo m8, just that it´s alot harder. Skill is alot in this mather, but a buffed enemy with less skill can beat you becouse he have a buffbot(buffpet).

old.Filip: I agree with you some m8, but i dont think the best would to be to take away all buffs. But for example,dont have all buffs in 1 spec line, that would help alot.

Still think it is a matter of defenition.

A player with a buffbot is *not* solo.
He has the aid of a second character.

For people to solo they need to be ... well ... alone, one character not two.

I don't think it is wrong people use buffbots if they want.
Just as long as they don't claim it is solo or due to higher skill (exclusive - buffed players can be good also) that they kill people.

To me running into a full buffed "solo" character is the same as running into a group - and treat it as such.

I do have time to level a buffbot, but id sooner not bother.

Why ?
Because when I kill someone, I at least get the satisfaction that I did it on my own, and never needed a "buff pet" to aid me.

If your sad enough to pay an extra £6 a month to gain an advantage over other players in a computer game, then you seriously need to sort your life out.
