A price (on average) listing of how much it would cost to put it together would be a better overall view of what you and everyone else thinks is cheap. Can't say I've seen many sb's being invited to Darkspire groups - not that there many of those anyway ..........

-too much cold and energy resist. also all that 25 thrust not that needed. i would say anything more than 15 is ok
-too low hits
-no CS and u cant even cap con ?
-do u hit 250 qui with +62 in template?
-why only 7% melee speed ? seems like u will swing much slower than u could.
-101 str isnt a must tbh...its good (even when remedy comes)..but u need balance between offence and defence...101 str but 200 hp is pretty much sucky. get 300+ hp
-Also...OMG too much dex ... with that 26 dex cap u only receive 0,65% bonus compared with the plain +75

About CS, I really don't want to get that arti to my template, about maxing con, well every con point yields 1-2 hp. Better to get as much hitpoints if its hard to cap con. Getting as much hitpoints as possible is easier than trying to cap constitution, which (like said) doesn't necessarily give more hitpoints than trying to cap hitpoints instead.

Wrong, I've been told 1 constitution = 3.8 hitpoints, so just try get both as high as possible. Drop those dexcap stuff and don't imbue dex into SC. Shadowblade weapon damage is based 100% on strength, dexterity just increase evade rate, 300 dex buffed should be enough.

Thanks guys for hints and suggestions, sb is a new class for me to play (well I have done some studying of the class in past, but nothing much). Will try to adjust template more accordingly to your guide lines

How much hp you get from cons depends on class mate. I warrior get about 5 hp each con, where a caster only gets about 2hp each con.

A sb wont get much hp each con, so hits are more importaint.

Think you get less hits each con from the cons above 250, than you get from those below aswell. And yes, sbs will only get more evade from dex, and when they already have evade7, it will only be a difference with more dex if you tank many enemies at once (or high lvl mob), since u cant evade more than 50% of the blows.

Drop that necklace use either beaded or that DR pentagram one. Also the rings could be replaced with moirai/volurgon ring(s). Would use GSV as chest also, it's ok.

Here it is, a decent starter template. Threw it together quickly so SCing can be done better, all skills are capped and even managed to get 3 envenom so you only have to swap 1 piece when applying poisons. Another big plus is teh high AF bonus.

btw, not sure wich race you were so took norse (racial resists).

yes those are 2 solid sb temps , any way u can work out ozurring and replace with Ring of dances and u got an even better temp

i think RoD are going to be a huuge bost for the incoming sbboost

Seems good template tho the Ozur's Shadow Ring is a drop from council in TG, which can be expensive. According to vnboards the black pearl ring is quite rare drop from ml2/3. Hrord's Blood Stained Belt is a drop from TG (not many raids organized to there these days..), Charred Pentagram is a quest reward of doing lenghty DR questline - doable, but after doing it for one alt, I'm not keen of doing it again in anytime soon

Anyways good template, some of the items are more or less rare, and I don't got the gold to buy it nor patience to farm it. I try to make (this time) a template what I can build with relatively little effort, yet it should meet the most important criterias, like few posters in this thread has already told.

Next patch u will get arties for free when u have enc and turn in scrolls to npc, scroll drop rate will be alot better, so i wouldnt worry about arties really, unless u just can't wait to get out on the battlefield

Little correction to the charred pentagram neckie - I said that one would need to do the quests, and CO5 to get the neckie. Well its one time drop per char that neckie, and its sufficient that you do the bosses in CO5 and the final mob there in.

Did it with Ix yesterday, and got the neckie, and he has done maybe first few steps of the champion quests.

-better... give more hits tho
-and imo...drop that Champ weap...cant really fit and doesnt seem all that gr8 to me (i will be using it as 2h PA ... for the 8%melee dmg and 8% style ... and the str cap that will be lost when unequiping malice)
-Also...i see many things that r much higher than cap .. tho i didnt check swappability and if u need all those over the cap things then. but they seem worthless on main setup
