I know there has been a lot of recent discussion on merc templates, but i dont have the patience or the plats to get items such as ring of oblivion etc. So i have attempted to put a budget one together. I already have all the artis except Gem of Lost memories. Just trying to get a second opinion to try and make it cheaper/ better

Thanks a lot for post replies, and sorry mine being a bit late. Some nice templates posted, although i dont know if i can be bothered to get scalars in Shannia's one (iam lazy). Vlad uses SoM, which i do have so could use (ty Eva ), however im a highlander so i dont have the +5 matter racial resists that Vlads merc has, and also some main resists in Vlads are a touch low (still a great template for a HO). I dont know if this is balanced out by good TOA bonuses and lots of hits?
Also does 5% melee combat speed make you swing faster or having 14 extra quickness in template make you swing faster ?

Thanks a lot for post replies, and sorry mine being a bit late. Some nice templates posted, although i dont know if i can be bothered to get scalars in Shannia's one (iam lazy). Vlad uses SoM, which i do have so could use (ty Eva ), however im a highlander so i dont have the +5 matter racial resists that Vlads merc has, and also some main resists in Vlads are a touch low (still a great template for a HO). I dont know if this is balanced out by good TOA bonuses and lots of hits?
Also does 5% melee combat speed make you swing faster or having 14 extra quickness in template make you swing faster ?

1% melee speed is around 5 quickness.(not exactly but very close)

Being highlander you will want to aim at around 85 in sc at least and 10% melee speed if using a slow offhand like malice/battler or ml10 weapon.

No xE you want 26 str cap, 15-26 qui cap, 10% melee speed more than anything else.Forget hits, you want around 200 and then get all the str/qui you can get.I would use som, that procc is great for solo encounters.Perhaps use som and forget golm, use harpy feather charm instead for the utility.

WoW is cool, less time consuming than daoc for me, best staff in the game on my mage chim xD 1/2500 drop chance xD
