open ftp program
ip : ftp.btopenworld.com
username : the one you use to log onto the internet
password : the one you use with your username

go to folder pub and upload what you want.

use the url

www.<username>.btinternet.co.uk
or
www.btinternet.com/~<username

which will take you to your dir to where you uploaded your files.
Hope that helps :)

Whilst on the dsl trail, yesterday i got an email from jolly old bt saying that as I was a "heavy internet user" (wtf?) I may be penalised by their 14 hours-a-day only rule for their dial up service, and would i like to change to adsl from my isdn . Its quite cheap, and their giving money back or some such bollocks.
They say there's no istallation or something, this frightens me. I have visions of them expecting me to use something akin to their usb isdn cable, and ending up with a worse gaming service than I presently have !
Can any of you adsl types run through what its all about for me ?
Ta :)

You can get ADSL and you havn't ordered it? Goto directly to the order form, and signup right now.

Its only 20 or 30 ping better than my current isdn. But I hear of savage packet loss and high pings on dsl. Which is why im asking.
Is it better to get dsl installed, or the bt thing im being offered, or what ?
Will i get pl and regret the whole thing ?

PL used to be a problem - not now everyone has these 155mb home gateways (explaination).

The killer application is the download speed - 60k/sec down 30k/sec up. Oh - and its prolly cheaper than ISDN
