Haven't had any problems myself but my ADSL is BT Internet rather than BT Openworld, which of the two BTs is your provider?

Quite often bletchley has problems on the BT Internet broadband route and more often than not if there's a real problem I get it with OpenTransit.

Stupid question probably but did you check BT's website to see if they were reporting any problems?

I was pinging that aforementioned bt router, and getting 1000 max, and 800 minimum

problem went away after half an hour though

BT are a bag of shite, last couple of weeks I've been getting 200+ pings to UK Half-Life servers and I'm on ADSL. I complained and got fobbed off with a bunch of crap, I hope they all die.

Oh and I think were abouts in the country you live and what homegateway you connect to has an effect, my friend lives in Scotland and has no problems at all.
