interesting. It's quite amusing reading all the fanboys getting riled up about BT ("patent troll" is the stock response).

I haven't actually read any of the patents, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were completely legit; BT used to R&D a ton of stuff around gaming and digital distribution back in the day; Wireplay was one outcome of that.

There was nothing particularly innovative about Steam other than exercising its brand assets really well; will be interesting to see how this pans out.
