I was just wondering I have been told it is possable to get 128k down 1 line my multilinking or soming like that. I was just wondering if someone knows how to do it because the details I have are a little vague (I'm on BT internet, and they only support 64k) and if I do this can I still use the other line for the phone??? Plz can you help or I am gonna have to get rid of it.

if you are on multilink 128k then your other phoneline cant be used To do it go into your dial up properties (of an ISP that allows multilink e.g Barrysworld) goto additional devices or multilink or summat, click add device, and use the same phone number. Then next time u dial up u'll have another option on your dial up status saying resume or suspend. If its suspend it means your connect 128k, if its resume it means your on 64k and clicking resume will make it 128k or summat

my bandwidth? well, being on a 51MBps connection, bandwidth really doesn't bother me.

I was thinking of other poor bastards on dialup that have to load that drivel up. Once lamers here start joining in and having 5345643634634k pics in their sigs, it'll grind to a halt

Why bother, 128k makes no difference to your game anyway. Your far better off getting a decent isp first, one btinternet is crap 2 barrysworld ain't much better
To take avantage of bt though, i just use 2 computers, one for downloading, and the other for playing games at the same time.

aye... is it just me, or is bw total shit0x these days, both server and dialup wise? I remember when it used to be the best you could get. Now I get better (although still pretty crap) connections to BW servers with an NGUK dialup than with BW - considering the former is an 0800 and the latter is 0845, supposedly directly connected to the game server, that's a bit of a piss take. Using NGUK on NGUK servers it plays like a dream - got asked 4 times yesterday whether I was on Cable/ADSL, one bloke even called me a cheat with a ping proxy because "theres no way you can get 40 in game with ISDN".
