My exchange has 142 people registered, only 608 more registrations to go!.

Cant believe the target on my exchange is 750 ffs?. Bt seriously taking the piss tbh. only 3-4 small villages on my exchange.

My exchange is oversubscribed, they are diverting equipment from yokels to build another in yuppie-dom, expect to hear waiting times increased any time soon - ha ha ha.

I have Nildram ADSL. My friend is trying to get ADSL, and he cant have it. So for some reason he thought hed check my line number to see the result.

When you put my phone numbe rin their availablilty checker, it says that I cant have ADSL, im too far from the exchange. Of course when I was checking the availability, i was doing so over my ADSL connection, using the very phoneline they were telling me couldnt have ADSL... hmmmmmm

BT refused to install it originally for the same reason. So I phoned Nildram, 2 weeks later I had it installed, no hastle (and Nildrams conn is superb, consistent 60k.sec downloads and pings to BW servers rate from 15-35 in CS, very little down time as well.

Basically if you are looking at getting ADSL, and your exchange ie enabled, apply to a proper service provider, because they will most likely take you on, BT dosnt want too many people applying, something to do with it not being profitable in certain circumstances iirc.

There are quite a few ADSL isp's

I have been looking into them for when I eventually get connected...

I quite like Zen ADSL they appear to feature quite well iro connectivity, customer service etc
