but its been bugging the shit out of me since i watched it, and what with caprica stuff going on i thought id ask anyway. so , spoilers away!

so, what the sweet monkey christ is up with that bit at the end, oh look at me, im starbuck, the magical disappearing person?!.
what is she meant to be , or what the fuck happened?! never really got it , so anyone got any bright ideas ?

My understanding is that ...

the humans and cylons were guided to their destiny by some God(s) / superior beings ... Starbuck was an angel (although she wasn't aware of this until the end)

I think her, Head Balter and Head 6 were either emissaries of 'god' or the beings of light that were in the original series but are not in the reimagined. This explains a lot including 'the destiny' she seems to follow throughout her life
