Broiler - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Those buggers, gotta love 'em.

Get them for a fairly cheap price(5-6€) at many stores, fully grilled.

Just take one home, rip it apart like a savage manly beast you are, and munch away half of it while you're rippping the meat out for later eats :D

Ofcourse, some of the forumites here, not saying any names *points* you know who you are, lke to "treat" the broiler in the bathroom first :p

Best part though, skin. Lovely grilled broiler skin is just so unhealthily yummy.

Any other peeps into eating these whole birds, or just legs, or that vacuum selaed pre-ripped stuff?

Either if you like.

I don't cook mine, they're pre-grilled(as in ready to eats) at the shops.

Yeah, don't know if it's just talk, or if that's a real issue around there, but it's one of the reasons i wouldn't probably like to live outside our northern patch of earth. The food is just no-hazzle-good-to-go on the spot and no need for dangerous bacteria problems :p

Well, atleast not mentionably often.

i was never sick from eating anything in the UK (or Ireland, which is more amazing) apart from, far as i know, from my own cooking...

but yes! chicken, goooooooooooooooooooooood mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i also have about 2kgs of sausages left behind in my fridge fron NYE (who comes to a NYE party and brings sausages not alcohol?!?!) so i shall mostly be eating that for a few days.

Grilled chicken are tasty as hell (btw. the name "Broiler" is originally from eastern Germany).
However, the animals are being treated like shit, otherwise they wouldn´t be so cheap. Always makes me feel a bit guilty when I buy one.

Until you taste one and it aaaaaall goes away :D

Sh*tty treated animals are just like well treated, only that in cartoons they'd have machine guns, smoke cigars and cuss a lot.

I got to be honest, when I'm eating a Roast Chicken dinner, I don't give a second thought about the conditions it was raised in.

If I really was to sit down and actually think about it, I'd probably buy free range...but so far I've managed to eat chicken for the best part of 40 years without the guilt ruining my insatiable appetite for succulent roast chicken with crispy skin, gravy, & roast potatoes
