Hi

Just been giving the Vendos near Fort Veldon a hard time with my trainee Shadow Blade and came across Wedge, a Briton, bold as brass in Midgard. To be fair on him, he didn't do us any harm, but how do they get in?

Check out the RvR forum for more info... As you said, I didnt try to hurt mids, I did get attacked by a yellow before I wanted to leave, so had to take care of her(I think it was a her)...

No You did not have to take care of anything in our PvE zone.
Its just plain stupid to go there when you know it is a bug. And ofcourse if we find out albs or hibs are in Midgard we Attack before any harm will be done to our lover lvl dudes as the one before you have done.
And I was in Yggdra keeping clear of your friends that RP farm there, and saw atleast 2 killed by wedge messages.

Im pretty sure you are reported and will get what you deserve.
And I dont realy care if they lock your account.
If you want to explore Midgard, im sure it looks the same on other servers.

another perfect example of why so many ppl need to get a life. its only a game jonas. i could go on about the name of the mids i once saw in salisbury or even lyoness, but instead i prefered to smile and call them some names. Now if he had gone to fort atla and hang around killing lvl -10 that would be something. anyway he has no stealth so what he did is something i consider bold. would like to see you hanging around camelot and remain cool like he did. you would probably wet your underwear or start farming . Come to emain so i can take care of you btw.

Yeah exactly. I think everyone should be very honest to himself. And middies of all are the last ones to judge someone from us exploiting a bug. Afterall wasn't it a mid who started this exploit a while ago? Shade is his name from Nolby Pride. He even posted shots on the site. He killed a lot of albies at barrows entrance because he got "bored". So if someone should get a ban.....

I see that my mouse has a better memory than most of the albs.
Shade did go into alb but not with a bug, he stealthed through your guards. You dont have stealth.

I mean, did I go on a killing spree, no... The number of times I saw mid & hib hunters standing at places you can only reach by using a screenshot-jump... (Yes albs probably did it too)

I didnt know how they got there... But have gotten wiser...

So I used a bug to enter another realm... I didnt do it for personal gain... Unlike wall abusers (and the screenshot jump abusers)...

Sjeez it was funny, every friend I know was messaging me on how a laugh they had when they did a /who wedge and vale of mularn popped up....

Lighten up ppl It's only a game, and this was funny

Dancing with several gray mids was funny too, saving a mids life(twice) was funny, getting attacked by a gray merchant was funny (why the heck did it attack, dunno) walking over a bridge in a town with heavy (horse) traffic, loads of mids passing on horses was FUNNY! even getting ganked just after the bridge was FUNNY AS HELL!

All in all, 3 mids died during my trip(sorry lads, I wanted to enter another zone first b4 dieing), could have murdered LOADS... But thats not funny...

I'm not a stealther, do not have mezz/etc and have no speed... I'm just a simple tank, and this was just plain funny...

If you cant take a joke, dont play...

So sorry for saying what I think of players for doing things that is against the rules of the game, its not me that was exploiting bugs here...
I actualy couldnt care less if you want to hang around in midgard... but to kill innocent grey players is not something I support.

And I didnt read the other message about how he got there and what he did so I was a bit quick to reply.


And for Zold go back to where ever you came from KID.
I will offcourse charge if I see any enemy ppl, unless grey or new rezzed.

I got a life, Im 27 years old got a job and gf, and play mostly for fun and some addiction.
But after years of gaming ppl who either cheat, use bugs or other things to offend people makes atleast me stop playing the game.

Thats my point, so go ahead and flame me.

Wrong, you should have let yourself be killed. You weren't supposed to be there in the first place. If I was a GOA employee, I would have let you off with a warning if you hadn't harmed anyone.

Even in self-defence, you shouldn't be fighting there. By doing so you deserve the same treatment as all the other offenders, 1 week suspension and ban on repeated offense.

You could say that:

Then you could say what I did was wrong... But I play this game because of the amusement / entertainment... Not as a competitive activity or sport... I apologise to the ppl that do...

Well, Shade used a 'Design Flaw' to get into our realm, and he killed several (a lot more then me) ppl...

How about this one, Chain Mezzing / Rooting was seen as unbalanced, e.g. a design flaw... But I got chain mezzed and chain rooted in RvR loads of times...

Arg, but we can 'argue' all day long (which I wont ), in the end, should I have killed the 3 mids, probably not... Should I have returned 'back to Uppland', HELL NO!

It was the most fun time I had in a long time... But thats just me...

And it is not the fact that you killed 3 people I care about (could have killed 0 or 20, I would still feel the same) - or that you entered Midgard.
It is that you abused a bug, are proud of it and would proberly do it again.

And maybe the thin red line to using wallbugs now - has dimished - at least for some other people, that will use your line of reasoning: "Well he did this - so I can do that."

And BTW - I've never onced said it was okay that Shade could stealth past the guards and through the gates.

I do hope if anything happens(wich it dosent' cause GOA seems to care so little about us "happy" punters) that you only get a warning - but I still find it appaling that you did it, and boast of it.

Well, I kinda found it funny... You'll never seem me in a wall... Because thats no fun (what the heck is the fun about being able to shoot others, but they cant hurt you back)...

The difference I see is that, a the wall bug is unfair play, where as what I did could be used for unfair play. But I dont think it was that unfair

And I wouldnt mind if GOA took those RP's and or even double the RP's... Heck, I wrote a RightNow to GOA myself with a description of what I did...

But still, I wonder what would happen if such a bug existed and mids where able to get into Albion... Would they just turn around when they saw " You entered Camelot Hills" ?

As for me finding it funny, I wasnt the only one, heck even several middies found it funny !

Oohwell... Btw, the reason I posted it on the forum, was that it was going to get out anyhow, too many mids saw me... I expected flames like this

Proberly not - but still doesn't make it right.
That is the point - you can't justify a wrong-doing by saying others would/will do it. This simply don't work and others will use the same line of reasoning - just look at the wallbugs threads. "Well Hibs/Albs/Mids do it - so we can do it"
And so what if the offence isn't as "bad" as these wallbuggers - it was still a bugabuse and breach of Rules of Conduct.
