What's the point of it though? It changes nothing and no-ones actually interested anymore - hes only getting press for the eviction.

The point? A man spends ten years of his life being a daily reminder of hipocracy, deciept and outright dishonesty to those in government who have to pass him every day. I'd say that is a pretty important thing personally - the press is purely secondary.

Obviously you disagree, as I am sure others will, but sometimes, simple commitment to a cause deserves respect, whether you agree with it or not and very few people have that level of beliefe in their cause and the commitment to see it through.

The laws passed specifically to stop him doing what he was doing sicken me tbh. How can our government pass a law to stop ONE man doing something? What an utter waste of public resources to draft, redraft and approve such laws.

Did i read it right; some man sat every day infront of pairliamererent house for 10 years opposing...some or such...and now they passed a law to evict him of the premise?

Isn't there some law to stop single person laws?

He an anti war protester. Specifically the Iraq war. The law around free protest was amended specifically to make it illegal to protest in Parliament Square without some sort of special authority. AKA get rid of Brian Haw law, that was years ago and he changed spot and tactics since then but it looks like he's finally getting the boot.

Fanatics and suicide bombers have great comittment to a cause - I dont respect it because it reflects the need of some people to become martyrs.

These people need to get a sense of balance and move on - what a waste of a human life tbh.

I believe I used the word somethimes, did I not? I am glad that some people don't get a sense of balance and move on. They improve the world around them because they have the courage and far sightedness to do so.

It was rather useless though, in the end from the outside it seems like nothing more than his time wasted and our money.

Well, hmm. I have to respect his tenacity, fairly uncommon in an instant gratification give all nau! society.

I'm not sure it was worth it though, as 10 years of that mans life, if spent in for example helping war victims, would've done more good.

But, the finite answer always lies in this; it's his bloody choice and life ;)

At least while he was near Parliament , one person was telling the truth.
His tenacity should have shamed our so-called free press into actually reporting the whole story rather than editing the lot to suit the propaganda machine.
The scary thing is the things he said were true, but sounded like ramblings because we just can't believe it really happens.
