How many of u ppl living in Sweden have problems with BBB and EXTREME loss ingame? I really need to know. Cus if it isn't just me u should do a trace and send it to support@bredband.com
I have been in touch with them a lot and after a few weeks I got the response that they know of the problem and they are pushing the partners where the faults are, but they can't do more than push and push. However the more reports they get of this problem the more they have to show to the gblx.net owner ppl thingys persons whateveryish ;P.

Yep, I have noticed it to, and it seems at some points I get a very slow response (the laggy router) at Global Exchange (gblx.net). Also when I talked to the support on Bredbandsbolaget I was told the load on the line between sweden and denmark is constant full of traffic (1.5gb line) and they where discussing a bigger line.......but as you say the problem is Global Exchange.....

The latency is killing me sometimes.......gah, hope they fix it soon

Well, I live in Norway, and I have access to the internet through Bredbåndsfabrikken -- the Norwegian branch of Bredbandsbolaget. They use the same net, as far as I know, and I have the EXACT same problem. It makes the game, at times, completely unplayable; I've experienced up to 6 LDs in the space of a half-hour, and that's not an uncommon experience for me.

Something clearly needs to be done, but how?

To make them more aware of the problem we are suffering from u all should do a traceroute to the server and mail it to them. The more they get the more they can show. I would also like to know if there are ppl with BBB who DOESN'T suffer from this

According to the Prydwen thread, this problem should be on the way to getting better as the engineers and admins of the routers have got alot of complaints, meaning it is good that many ppl sending complaints to em so they do something about it

Cant say I noticed any difference.....kept that the spikes didnt last as long as they used to......

A friend just told me of this thread, I usually only read Prydwen threads.

Global intercrossing changed their route for us with BBB a while ago, and since then I myself haven't experienced any problem with the gblx routers. I still experience serious spikes ingame though. I am however running Pingplotter and has seen a few spikes just 1 and 2 hops from me, so I've mailed BBB and reported this. After a few mails back and forth they finally accepted that it may be a problem with the routers close to me and said they would check it out. This was just a few days ago so I haven't heard anything yet. With Pingplotter I do also see that the gameservers themselves and the routers close to them seem to spike pretty often. Being far down the chain I decided I would at least wait and see if it got better when/if BBB checked the routers close to me. Also, Goa schedueled a network maintenance for the monday that just was. Does anyone know if they did it? The servers sure weren't down later, after 12-13 cet something. And there are no news on the site. I was also hoping that their maintenance would make things a little bit better....

I have BBB and i dont have more lag or LDs then anyone else on excalibur.

I had it alot worse when i tried to play an alt on prydwen, LDs and lag spikes all the time

I sometimes play on BBB and I have the same problem. 10 secs lag and lds happens quite often
