Its quite interesting to see what will happen and if this brain can function exactly like a person would it prove that the belief in the soul is incorrect?

Personally i like the idea of a soul, i like the idea that whatever anyone does to hurt you they can only hurt your body and not really get to the real you.

F*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck f*ck F*CK!

I'm stockpiling for the apocalypse and the boat for a remote island leaves in one week, sunday, 8pm GMT. No waiting! Be there in time or your ass gets left behind for the robotarmyapocalypse.

as long as it is only used to understand the human brain, and not to create further virtual brains to fuel robo-armies, i think its great. :D

The end product, which will take at least a decade to achieve, can then be stimulated and observed to see how different parts of the brain behave. For example, visual information can be inputted to the visual cortex, while Blue Brain’s response is observed.

Will an "empty" brain do anything? Natural brains come pre-programmed with instructions...

i aint no scientific boffin, but i thought a 'computer' can only know what you tell it? and if for some reason this 'brain' develops a way to think, well thats our fault for telling it stuff in the first place.

if we all die to killer robots that went bad, dont hold a grudge against em. its humans fault for creating it.
