Aye, great idea they have been trying to get going for years (Origional concept is from the seventies).
One problem though, use of said mouse does mean you tend to eat more cheese (Force feback).

However, as in game advertising is slowly being introduced to various games, it could be an advantage when coming up against the immature prick with the sniper rifle who shoots peoples nuts off.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but these have been released. Play and ebuyer are stocking them although they're in very short supply.
I've preordered one.

They aren't so much a mouse, as a mental keypad, you can bind certain though triggers to a key, you still need to use a mouse to look around, but you can move, shoot, reload etc with your mind.
From reading the forums, it requires a lot of patience, if you think about it, we've never had to consciously think a specific thought before, so people who have spent weeks practising are getting better results atm than those who just got theirs.
The view of someone playing UT3 and pong with their mind is pretty awesome.

Tilda, just as a warning, if you DO get an error message "Error 401: Brain not installed, check drivers and/or reinstall brain." I had nothing, NOTHING to do with it.

It reads the muscles electrical impulses and your alpha and beta waves.
You dont actually have to move the muscles for it to read anything.

post wasn't aimed at you , let us know how it goes as i have a friend who got paralysed in one arm when he did a tour in Bosnia so would be really useful for him (currently using voice recognition and other rather flakey tools etc..) if it is worth the cash
